Modernization of +60 500/220/115 kV remotely substations using IEC 61850
In 2012, one of the largest electrification companies in Colombia began the modernization of its electrical infrastructure with the aim of taking the next step in the evolution of electrical substations:
digitization. Incorporating new technologies while maintaining compatibility with the control systems already installed was one of the great challenges for this project.
